Project Zero Pittsburgh
Explore big ideas about teaching, learning, and leadership alongside educators from across the region and beyond.
Big ideas grounded in practice.
Project Zero Pittsburgh (PZ PGH) brings globally recognized educational thinkers to Western Pennsylvania for immersive learning convenings designed for educators, school leaders, and community partners.
Inspired by the work of Harvard’s Project Zero, participants explore ideas related to thinking, creativity, inquiry, and teaching for understanding while connecting those ideas directly to classroom practice and leadership.
Through two large annual convenings, Project Zero Pittsburgh creates a collegial and energizing environment where educators dive into big questions about learning:
- How do we create the conditions for deep thinking and learning within our classrooms, buildings, and school communities?
- How can we design for and with diverse learners and in diverse contexts?
- What does it mean to understand? How does understanding develop?
